I got the bespoke part. It was the civilian that was hanging me up.

I have to disagree with the general consensus here: I thought the wife looked a fair sight better in the "before" picture.

I imagine Carson Kressley is not an authority on traditional Highland dress. If he had tried to give the husband a fitting makeover, while it probably would have been both educational and entertaining, he likely would have revealed the extent of his own knowledge in certain areas. Safer to stick with what he knows. Probably less expensive too.

I really don't have a problem if someone wants a change, but I get tired of hearing shows slam on people for not doing this or that. It can also turn into a circus that really cements the whole "don't be different!" thing.

That said, I embrace my silver-streaked, long hair, and wear what I'm happiest wearing (and my hubby certainly doesn't complain! ;) ). I definitely don't need a makeover (now, a little cash to buy what I want to wear would be helpful! Ha!).
I know! I have NEVER seen a makeover show where they didn't want to cut a woman's hair short. I could never be happy with short hair.

May be just an Argyle Jacket and a solid coloured shirt would have been just fine.

She actually took the time to point the guy out again! I'm so glad her show is ending...too bad she has her own network and 24 hours to fill with stuff like this.

Okay...my rant is over. I feel better. Sorta.
You know, there are times I'm really glad that I no longer have cable

I don't think the suit should go into the trash. He should give it to someone who needs it, or something like that.
Maybe he should give them as a Christmas gift to his sister-in-law!
