Wearing more than one kilt pin at a time

There are two situations where I wear multiple pins. I guess situations is not really the best word. I have a set or four pewter pins in the four major trout species, any one of which is too small for proper kilt pin wear, but when I put all four in a staggered or diamond grouped pattern down right on my apron it gives the appearence of a school of trout swimming on the background of the waters of my tartan. The other relates to my "familycrest" and motto, which include three yellow hunting horns and the Forrester motto "Blaw, hunter, blaw thy horn". I have three matching gold horns that I wear in a triangle, as seen in the crest, in place of a single pin, exclusively with my clan tartans. Next time I get a moment I will try to get photos of each arrangement and post them.
