    Here's my kit,.. and variations.

    Hey All,

Here's my first real outing in my kilt - my friend Tim and I spent the afternoon in the park (freezing) taking some pix of my first kilt, hose and various things we've made (Tim's Balmoral, stick, silver kilt pin (my b-day gift), fly pin and shoes).

    Semi-Casual kit

    Kilted Cardi

    The Serious Scot

    Semi-Candid Jacobite

Not all are real looks I'll be wearing in public any time soon, but we had some fun with it. (So, no judgements of anachronisms, appropriateness, etc., please,.. I know)

    Thanks for looking.

    Happy Holidays everyone!
    Best,
    Doug

It's an interesting thing to put together a "fashion shoot" like you've done, eh?

You asked for no judgement and stated that you might not wear all those outfits in public. How are you thinking about each of those looks? Maybe at least give us some captions?

I'm glad you had fun and thanks for sharing.

I like the way that the short-waisted denim jacket goes with the kilt and sporran. I have been looking for one locally but can't find one. I may have to find a Levi's surplus store to get one. Then I'll have to get a BW kilt to go with it.

    Excellent variation pictures.

I too have a denim jacket that I wear sometimes with my kilts - it goes well with them when wearing casual gear.
