    Probably a mis-spelling...TCHD = Traditional and Classic Highland Dress...or Traditional Highland Classic Dress. Basically just a slight change and abbreviation of the forum subtitle, "Traditional and Classic Highland Apparel and Style"

    Interesting to note that TCHD...or THCD, however you see fit to type it...fits what most nowadays would call "semi-formal" or "dressy business casual", or the like.

    Ah-ha. I figured it was something along those lines.

    Most of the time I qualify for this label, but I'm at work and can't access Photobucket to post any of my own shots.

    Not a mispelling. It's the abbreviation I use for "Traditional Highland Civilian Dress", to differentiate from Highland military apparel.
