I'm a knitter and I think that the skill and time involved in knitting a custom argyle hose would cause them to be prohibitively expensive which is likely why there isn't anyone offering them for sale. Perhaps you could find a friend or relative who could knit them for you for the cost of the yarn.
I will have custom knit kilt hose available for sale shortly, but at this time I won't be doing argyle because I know I could never reasonably charge for them what they are worth in time and skill.
