Dearest Hamish, may you come through these tribulations with your humor, spirit, wit, and associated bits n' bobs intact! We think of you often and wish you all the best.

Dear Hamish – since I have been back in hospital (for three days, and undergoing yet another general anæsthetic) in the past fortnight, you have my deepest sympathy.
I pray that you will recover fully and be back in your accustomed kilted style by Easter.
My first kilt ought to reach me by then, so I will hopefully welcome you back with my own pleat shot!
Regards,
Mike

Ah Hamish,
I see emails from around the world which indicate knees bending, heads bowing, and prayers ascending. I join with them and ask for your complete recovery, soon return, and for every blessing of God upon you.
