I leave for a trade show on Saturday night, but I am going to TRY to make it Friday night to the Sly Fox for an hour or two (then I have to pack). If the beer is free, I'll buy your first pint, MacBean.

Still negotiating, but I am going to try to make the trip. Only an 1-1/2 hour ride for free beer? I'm on it!

Perhaps you could convince Kelly and her Mom and Dad to come too?!

For the record, I did try. Kelly was home packing for our impending trip. I DID invite Rick (and Sue) as well and he gave me a 'we'll see', but had a rough day at work and didn't want to go out. Understandable. I had a good time conversing with you and others. It was very nice to meet your son.

Good to see you again Rocky (and Mac too!), and hope you and Kelly enjoy your trip.
The number of kilts last year was perhaps 3-4, and this year 10 x the number. The usual white hose (which is fine with me), Utilikilts, and USAKilts, etc The sensation of the night (wish I had a picture) was two chaps with girl-school kilts, loose red dublets, bonnets and feathers - weird characatures of Scotish dress. One of these gained 1st prize and got to dance on the bar with Ian Turnbull, who has hosted the supper for the last eight years. Ian took the opportunity to dance with two of our Scottish intern lasses from work, which was fun.
