I'm not saying the price should be adjusted to avoid fees, or any other games played to that end. All I'm saying is that when we do place our orders, it needs to be clear whether there will be fees or not. There should be no surprises.

I'm really looking forward to this. I love the tartan, and it would be a very unique kilt to have (4-yd box pleat in this tartan).

If it's shipped by royal mail small packet, it usually 'scoots' through without even hitting customs. I'm not making any guarantees, it's just my experience ordering small, expensive toys from the UK.

My experience has been;

I 've had a kilt sent from Scotlan and shipped by royal air mail with no customs charges

I had a jacket sent by FEDX and was hit with the charges

I think that UPS and FEDX MUST get a cut of the custom fees

Anytime I've used Royal Air Mail I got the package in 3-5 days
