Looks good!
So, what "day sporran" did you decide upon?

And that is going to be difficult. Seeing all the excellent custom sporrans on this site does NOT help!
First off, I would suggest you go into the DIY section of the board and select an artisan from this community to make you a sporran. We have plenty of good ones- Artificer is a master! I do have to say, though, that a plain black sporran with that tartan will look really classy. I like a good, clean, simple look.
Second, your outfit looks just fine. I have one critique that I always offer, though- your white kilt hose. Nothing pulls an outfit together like a nice pair of socks, and with all the colors to choose from, why go with plain ol' white?
Third, and most importantly-

Because I don't know any better!
But that is why I am here!
What color hose would be a better choice? Is there a section to tell us how to coordinate what to wear with a kilt?

Well, native born Scots will tell you that worrying about matching your hose to you kilt is silly. And for the most part, I agree. HOWEVER- I do find that certain colors of accessories can really bring out the colors of the kilt. Pick the color you like best and match or contrast that. This picture of our own Riverkilt illustrates contrasting colors quite well:

Hot color socks, cool colors in the tartan. Personally, I like to find a stripe to match my accessories to. The Colorado state tartan has a primary color of blue, with green being the second most dominant color. I wear forest green socks with it- the forest green really makes the rest of the tartan pop! So here is a link to my personal favorite brand, and vendor!

Those hose are a little expensive, but man, when you put those on, you'll know where your money went! I have 3 pair and am in the process of slowly converting over to them. I save and buy a new pair every couple months... Although this year, I'll be using part of my tax return to get a few!

As I get older, I spend more on more on good socks.
So I can see the same thing happening with hose.
Thanks for the link and info!

Well, I ordered my first kilt yesterday. The tartan I chose is Black Stewart, which looks pretty similar to your tartan. Anyway, you look SMASHING!
(I think I'm gonna like this place....)
