Thanks Woodsheal Do you know any place to find one, I have a Highland Sleeved coat but I need the sleevless waistcoat.

It seems I can't get a hold of Missy Clark for months now, and really gave up trying.

Would something like this work or wrong for Jacobite period?

The 1750's style is the right pattern, but too long as offered here. You could buy one and shorten it, or get the 1770's version. The length on the latter is correct for highland garb use, though the V shaped cut-out in the center front is technically not correct for pre-1750 (though lots of guys wear these!).

Check out the "American Rev War" waistcoat here: the inverted V cut-out is less exaggerated, and it would make a good '45 highlander's waistcoat:

Indeed. I can't speak to how she is doing now, I only know what was reported amongst the 18th century reenacting community about 2 years ago.

You might try contacting Barkertown again. I know that my correspondence with them, even before her health issues, was a bit hit & miss.
