    Christian cross as kilt pin

I have seen kilt pins that are little swords or safety pins, but I am a strong follower of Christ and was wondering if I could use a cross or other religious symbol as my kilt pin? What do you guys think?

I don't see why not. I have a cross on my custom Nighthawk sporran for the same reason.

Wear what you like. There are lots of interesting kilt pins out there. Though not religious, here's my favorite kilt pin:

In my opinion, unless you are covered by some uniform rule or regulation (Army, police, band, etc.) the pin you choose to wear (or not) is pretty much up to you. When I wear a sword kilt pin it is hilt up, from a distance it looks like a cross so why not go for the real thing. As long as it's not too big or gaudy almost anything goes. I might opt for a Celtic cross. Personally I would avoid a crucifix (with a corpus), but that is just me.
    good luck!

Go for it. I would be careful though, using a straight cross might catch on things, and could then tear your kilt. The celtic cross has shorter arms so it would be safer.

Go for it. Crosses are my favorite.

Round kilt pins don't have pointed edges and might be less prone to catching:

    round kilt pins

I like the look of the round kilt pins. Who sells them? Can you provide a link?

To my knowledge, there's no "meaning" behind the wearing of a kilt pin. It's just a weight attached to the apron of the kilt to keep one's modesty in blustery weather.

Wear a cross, a sword, a "whatever strikes your fancy", you'll just get bonus points for being stylish.

I'd say go for it! I wouldn't mind having a cross myself...
