if you are interested in something unusual & you obviously liked "Braveheart" ... and, you ( or someone you know) has basic sewing skills, you might be interested in checking out this:
the shirt pattern, at "http://pages.videotron.com/fldelyse/Patterns.html" (Pattern # NFH 18001 , 18th Century French style Man's Shirt ) - with the neckcloth and a vest, looks very nice.
just make sure that if you do make one, make the little 'diamond shaped' pieces, that go underarm, a wee bit bigger, for comfort.

Hey Hislander, I'm a fellow kilted MacDonald (Glencoe kilt) here in Victoria too. I know what you mean about trying to find your own style; I'm in the same state of mind. I'm still trying to figure out my style, not to modern, not to traditional.

Maybe I need to head down and see freedom kilts.. I just fear I'll gain a new (MacDonald hunting) kilt while there.. well not fear, more like hope.
