I thought I'd have a go at scanning these old prints from a holiday in Vancouver Island with Ann and her mum and my Aunt Jean in 1987. Time has taken its toll and since then Ann's mum and my Aunt have passed on, and Ann's limited mobility since her stroke in 1999 would now preclude such a trip. Beacon Hill Park, Victoria. Butchart Gardens Ann with my cousin David at Malahat. Nanaimo Qualicum Beach Shawnigan Lake Sooke Victoria harbour area. To the left of the Legislature Building, lower, the rooms where we stayed in the Royal Scot Motel overlooked the parking lot in lower left hand corner. Oh for the blue skies of Canada !
