Hey, Mark...I see the parking boxes...two feet of snow, falling temperatures, public transit ground to a standstill...but don't forget to feed the meters!

For those outside of Chicago, this is a real sore spot for us. The city, in it's infinite wisdom, sold the rights to the parking meters off for some inadequate sum and for a period of 75 YEARS...dumb, huh? So now we have these boxes where you shovel in your money and they give you a little timed ticket to put on your dashboard. Wandering morons walk around checking the tickets and giving out parking tickets if they're expired...and the city enforces the tickets while the contractor gets the fines.

Your photos remind me of 1967, though...
