Yes, I will also have to save up a few pennies to purchase a tank in my ancestral tartan. But my 13oz PV is in the mail!
    Regards,

Ah, well I pulled the trigger and ordered a kilt from USAKilts as well as the accessories for a casual outfit. No rush for me so I will get it when I get it, should be in plenty of time for the summer. Thanks for all the encouragement, I'll get some pics and such when it arrives.

Ah, another Coastie. Always good to see a friendly face. And I have ordered a kilt so I will soon be a kilted Coastie. And I did time out in D11, Ops on a 110' out of Eureka. Enjoyed my time out there, beautiful country in NORCAL and great port calls when we went south.

I have put it on my calendar. I am sure my kilt will be here before then and I am sure it has to be a great time.

Thanks for the welcome. I saw the Coast Guard tartan and in fact I am already trying to figure out a way a completely talentless retiree could fill a role on the CG pipe and drum corps. I figure I will wait and learn a bit more about the kilt community before I make that kind of step.
