Ern, do you know if "the champion" was at the Meadows games last year? I can remember seeing a couple of the breed there.

saw a reporter, talking to one of the participants, on the TV news last night; she estimated that it took at least $50,000 to get a dog to the show , and at least $1,000,000 to get a winner .... that's a lot of ____

That's a lot of kilts! 
And the NYT notes "Hickory takes over the Best in Show title from Sadie, a 4-year-old Scottish terrier." Seems to be a theme here?

Sad to say, this sort of big win always generates a lot of puppy farm activity and hurts the breed big time. But it is a sort of Scottish victory!
