I can't seem to find the thread where a poster posted pics of a thrift jacket they got and their wife converted it into a kilt jacket. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

So..here is the situation.

I purchased a jacket from a thrift store for 10 bucks. Not willing to pay the local tailor 63 dollars to have it tailored I took it upon myself to do the task..

I finished yesterday (finished what I can)...it doesn't look professional, but I think it will do. The sleeves are a bit short, but if I attempt to lengthen them I will screw it up. I haven't sewed since..probably 10 years ago give or take.

Pics soon to follow! I will post 'em to this thread probably.
