Sorry I missed the photo op, I was busy petting petting great Pyrenees

I did get around to the tent and it was nice meeting you.

Shopping was good, got a new kilt, a flask, and short bread cookie pan. The kilt is just a ok one, $110, Hamilton Grey.

As always the puppies stole the show. Almost took one of those big white fluff monsters home.

There were a lot more Steam Punk stands this year and a lack of Iron Bru.

Thanks everyone for showing up. Saturday was a good day for the Clan Keith and y'all being there and meeting you in person made it even better. For those of you coming out on Sunday, we are planning on being there until about 3pm and then packing it in as I have a business trip on Monday. Will see you then.

Well, regretably I wasn't able to make it this weekend. My wife just had foot surgery and with a 3 year old and 1 year old I didn't think it fair of me to leave her under those circumstances! Hopefully, I'll have a chace to meet up with you all next gathering.

J, no problem. We missed you, but I certainly understand about the wife's surgery. Those little ones can be a handful to chase after. Take care of the family and we will see you next time.

BD it was good to meet you. Hope the trip up North goes well. My son put the tickets to good use - Thank you.

Next time I see you I shall be dressed like a man-and-a-half. Ordering that first kilt just after the St. Patrick's Day rush us over.

BTW, according to my wife, seeing so many men kilted today helped my 13 son to think maybe his dad isn't so crazy, afterall.

I'm sorry I didn't make it in time for the photo op; 20 minutes late! Nice to meet some of you though.

I'm not sorry I missed out; I had a bonnie lass with me and my attention was occupied all through the day.

Not bad when you get to wear a kilt on a first date!
"Nice Quilt." - comment on my Kilt by a man behind me in line at Home Depot.

    Great seeing all you chaps!

I didn't expect to see my clansmen represented, but Fergusson did in fact have a tent. That was exciting

It was a fun time to be had. I'd always been hesitant to try the canned haggis from Caledonia Kitchen, but I tried it on Saturday and man it was good! Discovering that was worth going out itself Oh, that and the Guinness... int:

It was nice to see that many men out in kilts, too. Even if most of them need some fashion advice Should have printed out a ton of cards with this URL on it and gotten them on board. I'm somewhat surprised how many men in Dallas apparently own kilts, but they'll probably only ever wear them at NTIF and the St. Paddy's parade.

Navigating the DART system to get to the grounds, one couple approached me and confessed they had no idea where they were going; they were just following me because I was obviously going to the same place. Guess it's a good thing I actually was going to the festival! Otherwise they may have ended up very very lost
