AZ Rennaisance Festival
I have not been to this faire before, and have heard mixed reviews from friends and co-workers. I was browsing the website, and noticed that there is a "best knees in a kilt" contest this Saturday (March 12th). Might have to attend and possibly enter?!?!?! Maybe...

I've been out there several times over the last couple of decades.
It's... weird fairy tale stuff. A kind of hodgepodge of things going on. They had llamas the last time I was out, a couple of years a go, so anything might be going on.
Bring money and a shade hat, I don't think they let you bring in your own food, only water.
I don't know anything about the knee contest.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
