    There are quite a few things on there that aren't 'quite right'... That's the thing about the internet. Any numpty with a computer can put up a webpage with bad info and it's out there for the entire world to read as 'fact'.

    It was not unknown in the winter for Highlanders to wear full length trews or even woolen breeches under the kilt during the 17th and the first half of the 18th century.

    I perused the rest of his website. He is a young man who is not too long out of school. He states he is interested in English speaking countries and computer science. He apparently has been given some faulty information about modern wear. I used his contact page to correct the error and refer him to the forum, if he is interested in learning more about the wearing of the kilt.
