    The placename Nanaimo caught my eye. My wife’s stepmother had a brother who went to live in Nanaimo. Not sure whether he is still alive.

    Beautiful pictures. Looks like you had a great time. That RCAF tartan looks different (more red) than the one I've seen offered from kilt makers. Is that because it was for a major or did they change it or what?
