    La Fheile Padraig Shona Duit!
    Beannachtai na Feile Padraig!
Biodh La le Padraig Maith Agat!

I have a busy day, today, and as it turns out most of it will be kilted.

Need to go into work for a couple hours

    Then
    1) my Celtic trio around noontime at a restaurant
    2) playing Highland pipes at some business office
    3) more Highland pipes, at a Mexican restaurant and
    4) playing at a house party.

Since 2 and 3 require kilts, I'll put on the kilt (IOS) as soon as I escape work and wear it the rest of the day, for all four gigs.

It's times like this that I wish I had a Co Cavan kilt!

The Battalion de San Patricio Pipes & Drums in Mexico City will be busy today, I'm sure.

Saw three kilts yesterday here in the L-C Valley. No pictures but I really did see them. A couple of Utilikilts in a fun little joint in Clarkston, and I assume by the spats and long horsehair sporran, a fire dept piper at the gas station in Lewiston. I would have had my workmans on, But due to an unfortunate accident I only have motorcycle transportation, and, well anything past 15 mph is bad for everyone!

Was going to start a new thread but saw this was started.

Two of my fellow firefighters and myself went out on the town Thursday evening. At the end of the night we had seen 2 other gents kilted, as well as a bagpiper (kilted of course). I was quite pleased by this considering my location. Lots of stares, giggles, smiles, and being asked the obvious question. All in all, positive experience. This was my 3rd time out in it I think. I don't get to wear it as much as I'd like.

Here's a picture before we headed out. I'm on the right in my National Irish SWK (only one for now). The other fellow in the picture is just learning about kilts and had rented his from a costume shop. We both plan on getting kilts in the FF Memorial tartan when we're able.

Our St. Patrick's Day parade was on the 12th. Excellent turnout, but I did not see any kilts except in the pipe band. I was driving my 1936 MG with the car club, so I was not kilted either. On the 17th, I made a swap meet run to Oklahoma, so no kilt, but I did wear the green. I did wear a kilt to work on Wednesday and Friday though.

Ours was today. The temperature hovered around freezing, so I did not wear a kilt.

Oklahoma City had our parade today. Good times and the rain held off. I don't have any pictures yet, and it did present a minor XMarks meetup as well. Kilts were worn and fun was had.
