    It's here

I was about to ask whether anyone had reported receiving their fabric. When I got home this evening, there was a parcel stuffed into my mailbox.

I know of at least one other length that's arrived.

For some reason parcels via Royal Mail are taking an absolute age (6-8 airmail is some cases ). Don't know whether the hold up is UK or US side.

Mine arrived yesterday. Fabric is, as expected, top notch.

I normally expect parcels from the UK to arrive in 10 to 14 days. However, we have experienced many parcels taking 2 months to get here of late.

I was told by one of my suppliers in the Borders that the Royal Mail is still backed up from all the severe winter weather this past season, and to help work through that they are having some packages sent by ship, rather than by air, and so that is why the unusual delay.

Mine arrived yesterday. Great looking tartan and fabric.

Matt- thanks for the postal update. I'm still waiting for another length of tartan Peter sent a bit earlier than the Culloden. I was beginning to wonder if they'd sent the package by train.

That's interesting/disturbing. I'll need to check because it that's the case then they own me some money.

    Matt

Is that my tartan that you received?

Or did you buy some for yourself?

My parcel arrived today. The cloth looks great!

Matt, you'll be getting it just as soon as I can arrange the payment for a box-pleat kilt.

Thanks! Just FYI, I only require a deposit payment if I buy the cloth. If you are supplying your own cloth for CMT work (cut, make & trim), then no deposit required. You can go ahead and send me the cloth, submit your order, and that way you are in the queue, and I'll bill you when your kilt is ready.
