U S A K Semi Trad in American Heritage
Thought I would share with you my new USAK semi-trad in American Heritage tartan. Today was its debut in Fredericksburg. I asked not to have the third strap placed on. The fit is perfect. It will be getting a lot of wear as the weather is turning warm. Well done, Kelly & Rocky!
The weather had cooled from the weekend before so the VMAC Harris tweed conversion kilt jacket was a perfect for the cooler weather today. Need to be thinking about some conversions of summer sport coats to kilt jackets. It was really hard to leave the house without putting on a bowtie. But I managed. I’ve ordered this one from Beauties Ltd. of Vermont to especially be worn with this kilt. No snide matchy matchy comments please!

I think it looks very good.
On a side note, I noticed a pink ribbon, breast cancer awareness bow tie on the link you provided. I may have to get one of those.

OK, I'll make a positive match-matchy comment: if one is going to match, this is a good example of doing it well

I think it looks great. I'll be ordering a semi trad as soon as I can decide on my next tartan.

Looks great. Are the Semi-Traditionals PV or wool?

USAK Semi-Traditionals are done in PV, although Rocky offers a similar model in wool, called the "5 Yard Wool".

No, I have one in Stewart, black. They are so practical for our warmer climate in the Americas.
