    Gunnar,

I think that would depend on

    (1) Your waist/hip size

    (2) The exact sett size of the particular PV tartan

For example when I ordered my Mcleod of Lewis variant USA semi-traditional kilt I wanted it pleated to the red stripe. Rocky was happy to oblige but warned me that because of the large sett size it would take an extra yard or two of fabric to do it (which would add a lot of bulk to the waist). So I went for pleated to sett instead.

You should PM or email Rocky with these details and he can let you know.

    Cheers

    Jamie

TYPICALLY, they are about 6 yards (give or take a yard) depending on your measurements.
