Well my answer will probably defy all logic, but I really do not think the fedora goes with the kilt.There are far better options that are also more traditional, such as the" deer stalker" and the "fore 'n aft". However, in warmer climes outwith Scotland I can see the sense of a panama, or the Tilly type hat.
