    Getting your knees tickled?

This happened a few years ago but I was just wondering whether it was a common occurance for you gentlemen...

I was wandering round the supermarket with himself, who had on a Utilikilt at the time, when we noticed we were being followed round by a tiny little very elderly lady. Eventually she came over, and asked me (not himself) whether I'd mind if she tickled his knees! I said of course she could (I didnt ask him, but he's a fairly tolerant bloke when it comes to being molested by random old ladies, its not as it it happens every day) so, she gave his kneecaps a little pat, and wandered off very happy looking. Himself just stood there looking mildly bemused, then got on with the shopping afterwards.

I've always wondered whether she was fulfilling some unrequited desire from a long lost inamorato, or whether she just had a thing for gentlemen's knees

Does this happen to anyone else?

That's a bit odd to me...it hasn't happened to me yet, but I will certainly be mindful of tiny elderly ladies from now on

Never heard of such! Is this possibly a Welsh tradition?

My lass often tickles my knees when I'm kilted. I've never had anyone else try to do so, though... I'll bet it made that little old lady's day!

Oh no! Your in Wales?!? That's the withered widow killer of Caernarfon! She chooses her next victim by asking to tickle their knees and those who refuse are found the next morning shriveled up like a overcooked piece of chicken. Your quite lucky you agreed to let her have her way.

Must be a method limited to the Cynon Valley!

Never been knee ticked here in the Ebbw Fach.

    That made me laugh

My best guess is that tickling the knees of a handsome kilt wearing chap was something she always fancied doing and that she'd reached that happy age where you realise you might as well take your chance when you can. She certainly looked happy about it, went off chortling to herself. If only it was that easy to make everyone's day

I don't like having my kneecaps messed with. However, if some lovely YOUNG ladies were to ask politely, I might be able to endure it.

That's a new one on me. But I agree it must have made the old lady's day.

Ahh...could be bad. I'd have to let her have the right knee.

After a motorcycle accident a few years back, I have a spot on the top of my left knee where, if you touch it, I can feel it all up and down my leg...feels like when you bump your "funny bone"...except it's my whole leg.

Of course, now that my wife knows about that, she's always trying to catch me unawares and poke it!
