Perhaps you're confusing Henderson with Wayne Gretzky, The Great One. Not The Greatest Canadian though. Wayne only made 10th place.

Well all I can say is do you remember when this happened? It was during the Cold War and beating the Soviets in the Summit series was huge. I suppose looking at it from 2011 almost 40 years later makes it different. I made this comment jovially not to provoke debate. I am an American but will always remember Henderson's goal.
