    this is true, but Stillwater will do a custom length it just costs a bit more and takes a little longer to arrive. You have to send them an e-mail or give them a call to set it up.

    I don't remember exactly because it was a while ago...I think it was $40 but you should ask to make sure. and mine was a heavy it might be different for the others.

    I agree regarding the virtues of a Stillwater Standard as a "first" or "Trainer" kilt. I have one in Nightstalker tartan and another in Leatherneck and have received many positive comments on both. I wear them about as often as my wool kilts.
