Which outfit as a wedding guest?

Sorry, I forgot to add that the bride has asked me on nearly every wedding 'discussion' if I would wear one, including recently

Jock Scot - I see what you mean about not showing off the kilt to the full. I will be hiring the MacGregor Hunting tartan (I know about the Cardney situation but I cannot get hold of the red and black. Plus I think the hunting one looks better).

Some think white hose are the mark of a hire outfit and others just think that white hose do not show the kilt off to best advantage and others are not bothered either way.

And others of us find them to be too bright and distracting!
