Playing in D on a G whistle is similar to playing in A on a D whistle -- some tunes work better than others. It's hard to come down to the C# (half holed) from F# or E, so any tunes that have those patterns wouldn't work for me.
So going to: xx- ooo from either ooo ooo or xoo ooo is the difficulty.
