I wore my 5 yard Colorado State. Good lord, those boys know how to bring down the house! I've not missed a tour since 1985, and they sound better and better every time I see them!
Me in my Japan t shirt from the Final Frontier tour:

All proceeds from the sale of this shirt went to the Japanese Red Cross.

I just got back from the Victoria Highland Games and it was gusty at times. I had my 16 Oz wool kilt and had not too many problems. I noticed that some of the people who wore the lighter fabric kilts did have a few moments but if anyone noticed they were only smiling.
My second kilt will be a lighter fabric after I talked to a fellow from" Freedom Kilts" as they are considerably less expensive. The material appears to wear well and is able to be washed a number of times without loosing the crisp folds. It is a great alternative.
I love the feel of the 16 Oz wool kilt as it feels so right .
In any event...enjoy your kilts... it is the greatest clothing article a man can wear.
Glad you Lasses are so understanding.

I think I've pretty much seen it all when it comes to rugby guys and kilts! Before I met my man I went to a uni night out in England and there was one lone Scot in his kilt. I was already a kilt fanatic and we got talking, and he admitted his apprehension about wearing the kilt in Sassenach (sp?) territory. When the English blokes discovered he was 'out of uniform', so to speak, they had him upturned and de-briefed in seconds. It was quite shocking for a demure lass like me. The last image I had (it was hazy by then, I admit) was the aforementioned bloke wearing his undies on his head and chugging a yard of beer.
My mother still thinks when I was at uni I was a nice girl...

Well, I've never been to Phoenix, but I'd say in comparison that Glasgow would be more like Tombstone in the time of Wyatt Earp, LOL!

Never fear, no pictures are suitable for sharing on a family site!
You seem like a girl after my own heart!
I want them! I want them! Yes, the photos and the players! Real men in kilts? This is like holding a cup of water just out of my reach whilst I thirst in the desert!
Can I send you my email and you send me them? Love to uh, meet the team.
I don't care if they are smart or not, I can put a paper bag over their heads if they have ugly faces, I don't care if they are married or not, don't care if they are married with children even...
Please, share the joy! By the way, Hello! (:
