    I havent seen one in person yet, could one sew the pleats down themselves?

    A lot of wisdom there, a kilt with sewed pleats won't do me any good if I can't put it on because I have lost the use of my fingers.

    With my Thrifty I "Wonder Webbed" the pleats down and put just one line of stitching across the bottom, worked fine.

    Sorry, "Wonder Web" is a trade name for iron on tape used to put hems on things without having to sew them, may well go under another trade name in your neck of the woods, basically you put this tape between the two surfaces and apply a hot iron, and they stick together, I did this with the pleats instead of sewing them down.

    Thanks mate, this sounds like an awesome idea! If it's not too much a bother, any chance I could see a picture of the finished product? I tend to be a bit dense, and seeing things helps me when DIY
