Yes, if you notice the date of the tartan it was actually created July 2010. It was not formally registered until now. Strathmore has it available - I was privledged enough to see a bolt of it on their shelves when I was there last fall.
Hello Matthew is was created 7th January 2010 (07/01/2010), I know in America dates are written in this order Month/Day/Year...in the UK its written in this order Day/Month/Year.

Another note: the registration notes: - The Afghanistan Memorial tartan was designed to mark, not celebrate, the conflict which started in October 2001. The light and dark browns signify the parched and arid countryside of Afghanistan; the blue is representative of the impressive mountain ranges with the white of the snow bound peaks. The blood red is the tragedy of the human cost on all sides.
