If you're talking about OCS, just remember what it was like to be junior enlisted and treat your men well and lead by example. I had a DivO who personified that and a CO, who despite being an Annapolis grad stayed in touch with the enlisted guys, and we would have followed them through the gates of hell on Sunday...just for fun. In combat(which we did wind up) they both proved their metal. Nobody was lost, and we just got more badass. With good leadership, there is nothing your unit can't achieve!
Its not OCS, its a program called STA-21 which is more like ROTC except I am still active duty enlisted.
