    SCA Members...speak up!

I just joined (or rather started attending) SCA meetings 3 weeks ago. Barony of Loch Salann, Kingdom of Artemesia.
Great People and great fun. I'm starting out learning about illumination (the illustration of manuscripts)
How about SCA let each other know who they are?

For those that don't know SCA is the Society for Creative Anacryonism. (middle-ages reenactors)
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

    ... and sometimes, middle-aged reenacters.

After two decades being out of the Society due to massive ego wars that were happening where I was when I was in my late teens, I rejoined this year, and ended up an officer of my local group (the College of Sankt Vladimir) fairly quickly. Estrella War, the second biggest SCA event, world-wide, is coming next week.

I've dabbled in the SCA, but never joined. I know people who are members, but I don't think they are as active as they used to be.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
