Thanks guys! Seanachie, I was under the impression that this was a MacDonald tartan? Is it considered more of a historic but non-clan-specific tartan, then?
MacMillan's Son, yeah, knife pleats are my favorite. Can't beat the look of a tank with knife pleats. But for summer and casual settings, where a four-yard kilt is better suited, I am not super fond of the way knife pleats look with the lower yardage. I have been watching everyone else show off their box pleat kilts and had to try it. So far, I really like it.
Cowher, it's weird... I've been told that many times before. That I look like someone famous, but like you, no one can ever pin it down to a name.
