It was a great great thing. I was in high school last time Bruins had it. Bobby Orr - how time time flies.

Congratulations to the Bruins (who, incidentally, have never won Lord Stanley's Cup in my entire lifetime).

I'll never understand how burning a city is supposed to celebrate an athletic event. I remember Michigan State pulling a few years of rioting in the late 90s--i always hated reading about it. It was nice to see the article included here with the real Vancouver fans.

    Joy After Much Agony....

I live and breath Bruin hockey (old season ticket Section 322) and proudly wearing my Bruins sweater. So many heart breaks over the years but what a great joy last night. I have had little sleep the last 2 nights. I am sorry Cam never won one as a player.

Thanks Vancouver for the class in playing Dirty Water I was shocked when I started to hear it played.

Great game. Great series. I was 14 when they won last time. Fantastic to see them win it again. Going to the parade Saturday to try and catch a glimpse of the cup in person.

And you still remember it??!! Now THAT is being a fan!

I was in Boston when the "Miracle on Ice" Team from the 1980 Olympics were feted by the city after their defeating the Soviet hockey team (first time ever?). I can only imagine what the celebrations will like this time.
