    Joy After Much Agony....

I live and breath Bruin hockey (old season ticket Section 322) and proudly wearing my Bruins sweater. So many heart breaks over the years but what a great joy last night. I have had little sleep the last 2 nights. I am sorry Cam never won one as a player.

Thanks Vancouver for the class in playing Dirty Water I was shocked when I started to hear it played.

Great game. Great series. I was 14 when they won last time. Fantastic to see them win it again. Going to the parade Saturday to try and catch a glimpse of the cup in person.

I watched most of the post season this year, although my team(s) didn't make it, I'm happy Boston won. I was pulling for them.

I'm glad to see that the better team won; it's not always that way. I'm also glad to have the cup in Bean-town

That said, we were rooting for Vancouver, and I'm disappointed in the outcome.

Didn't I hear pipes playing just before the start of the game? (had to turn this to kilts in some form)

Being a Blackhawks fan I understand the trill the Boston fans are feeling now. Whenever the Blackhawks are out my loyalty switches to the Bruins. I hope both teams make it back to the finals soon.

Sadly, I think the results would have been the same win or lose.

The results would have been the same, win or lose. A select few brought molotov cocktails downtown long before the game even started. They were intent on starting something.
It happens everywhere though and I don't think any number of championships a city might have, they just can't prepare for everything.
Boston is a prime example; when the Patriots won the Super bowl (and they have won a few) a riot ensued and people died.

I will never understand the mentality of these thugs. Our local TV station kept referring to them as protesters. What could they have possibly been protesting????

    A sad day indeed...

since the flyers were out(thanks to the bruins) I'm glad the bruins won for 2 reasons
1: At least i can claim the flyers lost to the cup winning team
2: Bruins are my second favorite team behind the flyers.

Congrats to the Black and Gold

Yup. We have hockey, baseball, and basketball. I guess it's hard to keep track of ALL the Boston teams that dominate in sports. But we'll forgive ya.

It's wicked great to see the B's bring a Stanley Cup back home. Now if the Sox keep winning this year might actually turn out to be a good one!
