    Nighthawk - just a friendly worg of caution. I used to have a small wooden barrel for water at re-enactment events. Until I left it in the back of the truck in the sun and the wax lining congealed at one end. It was never water-tight again.

    The flask looks great, just don't forget and leave it in the sun or a hot vehicle. But since you made it yourself, you could fix it. I had purchased the barrel so didn't have the knowledge, tools, or skills to fix it.
