Don't lose a minute's sleep over it. You will all look absolutely smashing! Have a great 4th.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Ohhhh the humanity!!!
Is wearing a mask an option Jeff ? Or at least a rubber nose, mustache, and glasses?
Well, if not, I hear the military is spending a lot of money for the treatment of PTSD these days, so at least there's after care available!
Best of luck!

Lol...
Thanks for all the words of encouragement. Brooke...you made me laugh hard. Any of my NorCal friends that wish to attend...the parade is in Redwood City on Monday the 4th. Come on out and watch if you've got nothing better to do.

Redwood City?!? Well dang. I'll prob'ly be at my girlfriend's place in Los Altos about 15 minutes away, so now I can suggest to her a fun thing to do for the day!

Relax
I understood white hose to be acceptable dress for Band members. You're not in your civvies, and you're supposed to stand out and look unusual. So, I say... be proud to wear white hose in the right context! Look good and post photos. And next time, yes, just ask for volunteer pairs on the board. You should have many happy to donate. ;-)

The thought occurred to me, but I disregarded it because I'm not one to ask for handouts from people. Now that I've thought more about it, perhaps I'd have been doing a favor for anybody willing to part with them. Hmmm...
I was ordering the spats anyways (could have possibly borrowed, but no guarantee that they'd have the right size...and spats that don't fit properly look like...well...you know what I mean!)...so the extra $19 wasn't a biggie. I was still under the $50 price threshold for the lowest cost of shipping.

Dale...I was gonna tell you. I'll be the guy in the tan shirt with the diced glengarry.

And the white hose. Cool, I'll know how to spot you!
I've sent an email to my lass to pitch the event to her. Haven't heard back yet, but I'll be very surprised if we don't end up there.
