Because It's considered a "District Tartan? ...associated with a location, not a religious person or organization?

One cookie to Iolaus! That's right, there never was a saint named Kilda. Thanks for posting that information on the island's name.
Galant -- I suppose you could start up a club or society, a Christian Scottish interest group, and have a tartan designed for that group. Then it would be the official tartan of your group.
Aye,

Incidentally, and returning to the Clergy tartan, what would you think of a missionary choosing to wear the tartan, even if they were not ordained ministers?

Guns and shooting are fun, in competition, at the range or in collections. The nutters that go out to slaughter people are very few, with the exception of Govts who seem to think slaughter is great sport. I'm more inclined to trust my neighbor with guns than the Govt.

No offence, but please let's not get off topic again. Can you take the gun discussion to 'Off Topic' or PM please?

I am with you on that, Galant! This is NOT the place for these endless and repetitive firearms arguments, which usually end in tears - mine, because I am sick and tired of them!

Believe it or not, I even took my response to PM.
We didn't change any one's opinion, but we didn't use bandwidth nor did we make Rufus grab handfuls of his hair.

I'll go along with that. It really is a waste of time.
