I love this idea so should we call you the Dude. or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino?

I know who Lazarus Long is, but am not sure I'd recognize him in a crowd! LOL

LOL... a leather kilt, engineer boots, t shirt or long sleeved shirt, leather vest/jacket... and you have a play on the Scottish Biker, thanks to our recent video/ thread..

Wouldn't work for me: I wear my colors while kilted anyway, so people would be asking "where's your costume?"... ;)

Here are my ideas for using your kilt as part of the costume:
1) Zombie
2) The Crow
3) Vampire Hunter (with a big wooden cross, a hammer and some stakes)
4) Punk Rocker
5) Axel Rose (he wore a leather kilt in the 90's)

I think the key to using the kilt in a costume is make your costume either historical or go as a "Scottish __________" (fill in the blank with whatever you want. But don't use the route of the mass-produced "Scotsman" costume.
Panache's Scottish butterfly collecter is a good example. Also good would be Scottish zombie, Scottish vampire hunter, etc. Or better yet, just be a zombie who happened to be wearing a kilt.
This way, the kilt is not the costume, but is merely a piece of clothing within the costume theme.
