    Is this your picture?:

I checked the link for the photo, and you had an extra “http://” at the beginning.

Presuming that's the right picture, I would say yes, the jacket is a scosh long, and not cut for the sporran in front. It's fine for tooling about, but you should convert it, or get a kilt jacket if you're going to sport that look very often.

It had been converted, but not for me. What is a "scosh?" Should I cut it shorter all the way around? (I guess I should use an Argyle as my model huh?)
It's usually too hot for me to wear tweed anyway though... as I live in Louisiana and I do Scottish Country Dancing, which makes me sweat in a t-shirt and shorts and ankle socks. :-)

We had our first clan event of the year last night. Those two got into it... again. This time, over who got the plateful of the haggis (which was fantastic by the way!) The guy with the shield behind his back (his name is Danny) won- as usual. I was talking with Curtis, the other guy in the picture, and saw a long red mark on the left side of his neck. I told him that next time, he needed to dodge more quickly...

So here are some more DO's from last night's festivities:

    DO get married kilted:

DO perform Celtic folk music (This is a local Irish folk band called Gobs O Phun):

DO hang out with Celtic folk bands!
