Great series of pictures. Looks like she drained the entire quaich!

Well done Allen, great to see the quaich out and about, meeting new friends and providing cheer to those who partake. Cheers

Saturday at Triad Highland Games - Final
My 'cousin' Beth Calhoun (she has Sinclair ancestors and my Great, Great Grandmother was Flora Colquhoun). She was convening for her clan, but managed to slip away from the Colquhoun tent for a brief visit and a wee dram from the Quaich.
Jerry, another of our best dancers, had a long, tiring day being in charge of the dance demos (Scottish Country, Highland, and Irish), operating the sound system, talking to the audience, also dancing in the Scottish Country demos since we did not have many of our dancers there, and he had worked Thursday and Friday assembling the dance platform himself. So he needed a drink. It's nice to see someone appreciate 'The Maritime Malt'. Jerry has good taste.
After the last performance of the day, Kyf Brewer of Barleyjuice stopped by, and we shared the Quaich. He'd never had Old Pulteney 12 before and really liked it, so he took a phone picture of the bottle so he would know what to look for. Another gentleman with good taste.
Finally, there was one wee dram left in the bottle, and one of our Clan MacAlister neighbors from the tent next door volunteered to finish it off.
The Quaich will travel to Bethabara Highland Games in Winston-Salem this Saturday, May 10. If you're there, be sure to visit the Nesbitt/Nisbet tent (thanks reni !).
