The Quaich Comes To North Carolina (USA)
Cable Scot had emailed me with tracking number, so I was expecting the Quaich to be delivered today. When I glanced out the window this afternoon and saw the US Postal Service truck leaving our circle, I dashed to the entryway, threw open the front door, and this is what I saw --
I brought the box in, opened it, and examined the contents. The Quaich has arrived safely, and intact. I will have the Quaich (and a goodly supply of Old Pulteney 12, the unofficial single malt of Clan Sinclair) this Saturday, May 3rd, here in Greensboro, NC, USA at the Triad Highland Games in the Clan Sinclair tent. If you can attend, please come by for a wee dram, a photo op, and to sign the Quaich's log book.
Slainte,

Slainte,
I thought that quaick was what a duck says?
Still, nice to see the Quaich still being honoured around the world.

Great story, and pictures, about that box on your front porch. But what about those two big toes?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Allen (and company) it was great to meet you all, thanks so much for the hospitality and for the taste of a fine whisky that I wouldn't likely have picked out myself, but thoroughly enjoyed and would gladly buy a bottle of for my own collection if I should happen across it in the future.
