Stillwater kilts sells Lamont, if I remember correctly. I'd HIGHLY recommend them. Great for starters and long-time wearers alike!

I believe the SWK Lamont has been discontinued. They seem to only have size 40" and up. Should enquire though.

    hi

Yes, I am a lamont. My main family is MacGregor, but through my affiliation of clan patterson, I have connections to Clan lamont, Farquharson, MacAuley, and Maclaren. I think that lamont Ancient is a good choice.

I am a Lamont, yes. My main family is MacGregor, but through Clan patterson I have connections to Clan lamont, Farquharson, MacAuley of Ardencaple, and MacLaren. I hope the information I gave you helps. I hope we will both be happy with the Lamont Ancient tartan. But definitely look at the colors from House Of Edgar, and Lochcarron. The colors from Starthmore mill in this tartan are ugly.

    Welcome to X-marks,

I love the Lamont tartan, there are plenty of kilt makers here that I'm sure would love to make one up for you. Kilt makers North and South of the border. My favorite is Canadian Casual Kilts (MacHummel) but there are plenty to choose from right here on x-marks.
You have plenty of choices from 5 to 8 yrd in casual PV to the same in various weights of wool and wool blends to suit your budget. Machine sewn for less money but a traditional in wool hand sewn costs money but is the real thing.

    Enjoy yourself here,

    Kilted Stuart
