in my mall last Saturday

it's not that big a mall....this was in the courtyard area next to the escalators. Sounded pretty good acoustically but he was a very young piper and had a few bum notes. Lots of people loved him though.
There were a few shoppers up around the second level that had stopped to listen. Just a neat occurance I thought.

Good for him I am only learning on a a Long Polypenco Practice Chanter. I hit a hole bunch of reed bending notes trying to hit the grace notes

I always wanted to have afternoon tea in the Empress Hotel and the idea of having it to the skirl of the pipes across the street makes it even more appealing!

...so the idea is that if you give the pipers enough money they will go far, far away? I can think of a few folks who'd consider that a good investment...
