Something tells me that KC better not wear that Army tartan to tomorrow's kilt night. I have pleanty of room in my suitcase to bring it back to where it belongs, an ARMY family living in an ARMY town.

Umm, Colorado Springs is an ARMY town? Is that where the zoomies go to study? He he!

The Air Force Academy is near the Springs... but so is Fort Carson.

I must say when I think of Colorado Springs I think of Air Force academy. But, that's probably because I was Air Force...

Yep. Ft Carson is at the south end of town. We won't mention those four other places. US Air Force Acadamy, Peterson AFB, Chyenne Mountain Air Station and Schriever AFB. Seems like the AF has had 4 chances at it here still don't have it right.

Yep, Ft. Cartoon is where I served from '75-'78. HHC, 1st Bn, 12th Infantry, 4th Div. "Warriors, Sir!"
