I would love to have been able to make it but I'm in Scotland a week too early! 
However I hope to be meeting up with Alex so that's something to look forward to!

Arlen, I would have loved to have been there - for my sins, I have never visited Glasgow or that part of Scotland - but I am paying my second visit to Derek and Elaine in 'Greater Cardiff' that weekend.
I would like to come up for the World Championships in August, which is still a possibility. I am also driving from Dumfries to Oban (skirting Glasgow to Dumbarton) on June 29th, and reversing the route on July 2nd - maybe we could meet up briefly then (although I HATE driving in large cities!!)

O.K. This was going to be a sort of Roll call, but I just found out today that I won't be able to make it.
It;s my Mum's birthday on the same day, and normally I see her either before or afterwards and she spends the day with her husband and my step-sister.
This year she has requested that I spend the day with her at a local genealogy centre and, to be honest, she's my Mum so she wins.
I really hope any of the other folk who are going have a really great time. Perhaps We can meet for the championships in August as has been suggested.
